What a great way to end the year! Nash picked up two nice breed wins, Odyssey picked up two majors towards her grand championship and Hazen went RWD on Sunday. This has been a big year for Nash and it was nice to see him shine at local show!
TURKEY CIRCUIT IN STOCKTON, CA - DECEMBER 2018
Hazen (Loch x Odyssey) went on his first big trip away from home with his big buddy Nash and he picked up his first point towards his championship going Winners Dog on Saturday (thank you Corie for showing him!) and Nash went Best of Breed all four days! Looks like they had fun on their adventure!

A great trip for Marla down to Pleasanton, CA! Thank you Jennifer Baggenstos for showing her to these last points, to Luke & Rowan Baggenstos and their assistant Corie Hebert for getting her ready for the show ring and doing so much for her and to Allison for getting her to these shows! So proud of my Nash x Soleil daughter who is maturing into such a lovely young bitch, can't wait to see her potential!
Tucker's kids had a great weekend too with Freya going Select Bitch at the supported entry and Enzo picking up two select dog wins and a speciality Best of Opposite, and Rocco earned an Award of Merit each day - way to show!

This show has such a great backdrop of the Columbia River! Nash earned a nice Group 3 and also got to spend some time with one of his favorites!
NATIONAL & INDEPENDENT SPECIAlTIES - SEPTEMBER 2018
Very proud of the Trout Creek representation at the GSMDCA National Speciality and the Cascade GSMD Independent!
- Cooper (Klaus x Brie) went Select Dog & Best Veteran along side of his owner Jessica Kalupa at the National Specialty
- Nash (Timber x Onna) went Best of Opposite Sex at the Independent and showed great in the Top 20 event with Luke
- Luna (Royce x Quest) and Annika earned 1st place and a leg in Beginner Novice Obedience and 2nd place and leg in Rally Intermediate
- Maggie (Nash x Soleil) and Thea earned Rally Novice title
- Sierra (Zoom x Rhea) and her partner Jim participated in Team Rally and also went 1st place Veteran in obedience
- Dash (Gunner x Onna) earned 3rd place and leg in Rally Novice and gave her best effort at draft
- Heidi (Titan x Rhea) and Thea did great in the veteran conformation ring and earned rally masters legs
- Ruger (Yuri x Brie) and Thea looked great in the veteran conformation ring and even gave draft a go
FARMINGTON, UT - SEPTEMBER 2018Nash goes Best of Breed in a large entry at the pre-shows to the National Specialty and follows it up with a nice Group 2 placement under judge Debra Thornton! Great job, boys!

GREELEY, CO - SEPTEMBER 2018Nash and Luke started their almost three week trip for the upcoming GSMDCA National Speciality with their first stop in Greeley, CO. Nash went Best of Breed at the Peak-to-Peak Working Dog show and also one day at Evergreen Kennel Club - great start to the trip!

MT RAINIER WORKING DOG SHOW - AUGUST 2018
Nash and Marla had a great time at the Cascade GSMD Club supported entries held in conjunction with the annual working dog show in Enumclaw, WA. So fun to have dad and daughter showing in the ring together! Nash went Best of Breed both days and Marla picked up a point towards her championship.
PACK HIKES - JULY 2018
Nash finished legs 3 & 4 towards his pack hike title which also earned him his Novice Working Pack Dog (NWPD) title! Odyssey also got started and earned her first two legs towards her title!

A wonderful weekend for Nash with Rowan & Luke! Nash won two working group and also picked up a group 3! A weekend to remember!

Thank you to Laurie Fenner for showing Nash in California away from a show from Luke & Rowan. Nash picked up three Best of Breed wins enjoying the cool weather of the redwodos and the beach!

How cute! Teagan and Nash had their show debut in the Peewee ring and did great! Nash made the cut three days in the working group with Luke too!
WOOFSTOCK & IDAHO CIRCUIT JUNE 2018
Nash hit the road with Luke and Rowan to Vallejo, CA to Woofstock where he picked up a nice Best of Breed win and headed to Idaho where he received a working group 2 placement and also a few breed wins! Thank you to this team for their continued dedication! Mostly it looks like Nash had a wonderful time at the grooming salon with two cute little girls and his road trip home with his buddy, Milo.

While Luke had the weekend off from showing, Nash and Rowan shined in the ring making the cut three days in group and finishing the cluster off with a nice Working Group 3 placement! Thank you to the judges who have recognized Nash!

Nash earned the first two required legs toward the GSMDCA pack dog title at the Willapa Hills Trail pack hike carrying 20% of his body weight.
SEATTLE KENNEL CLUB - SEATTLE, WAExcited to announce Opal (Royce x Quest) earned her AKC championship title at the Cascade Club Supported Entry at Seattle Kennel Club!

A weekend to remember! Nash and Luke won the working group, picked up a Group 4 and went Best of Breed all four days of the cluster! I couldn't be more pleased with the start to 2018. What a weekend! Nash went Best of Breed all four days of the Rose City Classic Show two of which included specialty shows - this added Multiple Best in Specialty Shows (MBISS) to his name and he also became one of the handful of Greater Swiss to earn his AKC Gold Grand Championship! As always, sincere appreciation to Luke and Rowan Baggenstos for their presentation of Nash and also to Marty Glover who helped cover him.
Not to be forgotten, Marla (Nash x Soleil) had her show debut this weekend in the 4-6 Beginner Puppy and she looked stellar!
NEBRASKA KENNEL CLUB - OMAHA, NEStetson (Nash x Soleil) and his owner/handler Zeke strutting their stuff at an AKC sanctioned match...adorable duo! Can't wait to see what this team will do as they both mature.

The year is off to a nice start - Nash went Best of Breed all days at the Western Washington Cluster, nice getting to see him and Luke together in the group ring this year! Also, Birch (Nash x Soleil) showed in 4-6 Beginner Puppy for his first show ever and did a great job!
