WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB - FEBRUARY 2020

Wow! What a thrilling call to get from New York to hear that Nash had won Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club! This is the first time a dog I've bred has gone on to win Best of Breed at this prestigious show! I'm beyond proud of what Nash has accomplished as a representative of the breed and how he handled the big show at Madison Square Garden. Obviously I'm biased, but I think he showed beautifully for the live televised event. Thank you to Allison for all that she's done with Nash, there is no way this would have been possible without her dedication. Also, Luke and Rowan have been such a terrific match from day one to be his representatives in the show ring, they have truly got him to excel in so many ways. Thank you for all the wonderful notes of congratulations and encouragement.

ROSE CITY CLASSIC - JANUARY 2020
A busy, but fun weekend in Portland at the annual Portland Rose City show! Trout Creek represent at the Meet the Breed with Sierra (13), Dash (6), Nash (5), Hazen (2), Miles (9 months) - all were wonderful ambassadors of the breed representing a wide variety of ages. Nash picked up a Best of Breed win on Friday and earned his 6th Best in Specialty Show on Saturday at the Cascade Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club Designated Specialty. To top off a great weekend, Dash and her owner Jim earned two qualifying legs to complete her Beginner Novice obedience title!
